AJIB® ٩٩ is a specially formulated fertilizer containing Enzyme Activators (EA) and selected micronutrients to increase the resistance of oil palm to Ganoderma disease. The vital ingredients enhance the formation of lignin, resulting in thicker wall of the root epidermal cell. Thicker cell wall by lignin deposition provides mechanical resistance, preventing Ganoderma hyphae in the palms from penetrating into the xylem to absorb nutrients and water. In the end, oil palm in the plantation is safe from the dreaded disease.
AJIB® ٩٩ is the first product in Malaysia that received patent certification in reducing Ganoderma disease infestation (Patent No.: MY-151521-A).

AJIB® ٩٩ is an excellent product, especially formulated for oil palm cultivation. AJIB® ٩٩ is able to reduce Ganoderma infestation effectively for oil palm of less than 7 years. The control is much effective due to less interaction between the roots of the infected palms and those of the healthy adjacent palms The efficiency of AJIB® ٩٩ for controlling palms of less than 7 years old is about 90% while palms more than 7 years old, the control is approximately 75%. Micronutrients and enzyme activators present in AJIB® ٩٩ not only helps enhance the lignification process in oil palm cell wall, but also induces the increase of oil palm fresh fruit bunches by about 18%. The above data were obtained from two trials under field condition.
